Derek was raised listening to the styles of Blink 182. From the songs he has written this can clearly be seen in his style. He loves to play his guitar. When he is not jamming, he is usally hanging out with his friends. Derek owns a Squire Stratocaster, customly designed (shown in picture) and a Fender Telecastor (shown left). He is playing out of a 120 watt Crate GFX 212 amp, using a ibanez distortion pedal. Some of his favorite bands are Blink 182, The ataris, Greenday, NoFx, Led Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix. He loves everyone in his small, devoted, fan group.
